Hi, I’m Elise Bailey!
My research focuses primarily on mental health systems, health disparities, and health policy. I have skills in quantitative, qualitative, machine learning, and geospatial methods.
I’m especially interested in mental health, but have applied my research skills in diverse areas, including health care decision making, early childhood care, vaccine uptake, chronic conditions and employment, substance use disorders, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury.
I hold a PhD in Population Health Sciences, with an emphasis in Health Systems Innovation Research, and a Master of Public Policy. Both were earned at the University of Utah.

Current projects
My current projects focus on topics including circumstances preceding and interventions for suicide, the impact of wildfire emissions on mental and physical health, childhood obesity intervention trial analysis, and research costing methodologies.
